Genuine Mercedes Benz M180 - Water Distributor Internal Head Pt No: - 127 016 05 60, 1270160560 
 
This part was used in the late versions of the venerable M180 engine used in the 1950’s and 1960’s.
 
These plugs help to direct the water passing through the head waterways to improve cooling the “hot spots” in the head. They are also sacrificial alloy inserts that are designed to corrode instead of the aluminium head itself. These are essential fitments during any engine overhaul or head rebuild.
